In 1948 Meier in Hamburg from his high school and then studied History, Classics and Roman Law. The son of a farmer visited high schools in Szczecin, Rostock and Hamburg. Christian Meier ( born Februin Stolp / Pomerania ) is a German historian and professor emeritus of ancient history at the University of Munich.
